I have all 3 lol. I got the LAN adaptar to experience Wifi for the first time. then later, a wifi USB to go wireless, then a wireless router (for my laptop but I guess the wii counts too)

Yes it is tymon as is the Ps3 only xbox make you pay cause of there exclusive features.

Yes internet is free on the wii and ps3 but the online community isnt as big as the 360
